They have a team of almost a dozen lawyers who specialize in different areas of practice. Consultations are 15-30 mins and free for people from 12 to 25 years old. Services: The West Island YMCA’s Impact Program, a member of Regroupement des organismes de justice alternative du Québec (ROJAQ), would like to introduce our community mediation program! Community mediation promotes harmony in the community by providing services to those who chose mediation as a way to deal with conflict. Furthermore, community mediation can provide community mediation trainings, community mediation presentations, and communication workshops.
This program uses a community mediation model to solve disputes between neighbours, within families, between schoolmates and other conflicts that do not require legal intervention.
