The Collective Impact Project (PIC or CIP) is a collective process which aims to improve the communities and living conditions of Montreal neighbourhoods specific to their local realities (such as reduction of poverty) while actively seeking to experiment, innovate and find new ways to achieve their own goals, assess their own methods, outcomes and successes.
The PIC is not a program or a fund, but rather a new way to conceptualize how community development can be supported in addition to other usual channels of funding. The PIC is an accelerator of change.
The PIC is an initiative of Centraide of Greater Montreal and has been made possible thanks to the commitment of its major foundations partners. For more details about the PIC, click here.
THE WEST ISLAND PIC
The West Island PIC focuses on learning to work together by making projects together.
WHAT IT MEANS FOR THE CRC
The CRC’s involvement is vital to the West Island PIC and the West Island community sector. We create and facilitate opportunities for community partners to build their capacity for collaboration and various collective approaches, thus improving collective efficiency and communication among each other.
