Program or Service Description: We offer services for adults and for young people. Adult services: support group (17 years and older), online chat service and online forum service, on the official website (anebquebec.com). For young people: online chat service on the teen site (anebados.com). For all: helpline, support offered by email and on the Facebook page
Age group: 0-11 (child), 12-17 (teen), 18-34 (young adult), 35-64 (adult), 65+(senior)
Eligibility requirements: The people who contact us must have an eating disorder, or have someone around them who suffers from an eating disorder. We do not ask for a medical reference, we accept everyone!

Organization’s Mission: ANEB’s mission is to guarantee immediate, specialized and free assistance to people with eating disorders and their families.

More specificly … 1. Offer specialized help to people with eating disorders and their loved ones; 2. To sensitize the population and potential partners to eating disorders; 3. Prevent and decrease the consequences of eating disorders by collaborating with other organizations; 4. Develop training programs for early detection of eating disorders.
Other information: We also offer training for professionals from all backgrounds. We also have an education and prevention component where we hold kiosks and give conferences in schools, women’s centers, youth centers, community organizations, etc.
