Organization’s Mission: The mission of CJE de l’Ouest-de-l’Île is to support young adults through the participation of community partners by offering a free range of bilingual services and programs in social reintegration, job search, back to school and awareness of the entrepreneurial reality.

Any young adult between the ages of 16 and 35 is eligible for the services of CJE, whether the youth has dropped out of school or holds a diploma, or is unemployed or seeking training.

Our organization is for everyone, regardless of economic or social situation.

Our objectives: Helping youth in their efforts to integrate into the labour market;
Counselling and supporting youth in their educational and professional development; Supporting and promoting the services for youth (job search, academic and vocational information, orientation and entrepreneurship);
Supporting and promoting the development of employment in the sector, in partnership with local parties; Raising awareness of the situation of youth ages 16 to 35 in the social and economic parties in relation to the academic journey and integration into the job market.
Program or Service Details: Accès jeunes: this service is catered for the young adults aged from 16 to 35. It primarily targets clients on social assistance ready to integrate rapidly the workplace. These youth have access to a counselor for one on one assistance in their cv writing, cover letters and interview preparation. The duration of this service is 3 months.

Miser sur ton Avenir: this service assists the youth from 16-35 years old in their job search and they decision process to reintegrate school. This service is based on a long term accompaniment one on one and in groups’ activities and workshops. It provides creative job search techniques, academic and vocation orientation Social Skills Improvement. This service goes up to six months.

On track: is a service for youth from 18 to 29 years old. It is a program that last up to 26 weeks where the youth have to be present 15 hours per week. It is offered to youth who are currently experiencing obstacles and require assistance to do so.
Other information: On Fridays we only offer services by appointment. We welcome stagiaires
