Program or Service Description:
EQUIP: VOBOC delivers free Vo-Pak backpacks to affiliated oncology units. Each Vo-Pak contains tools and resources to help patients navigate the health care system and to access supportive services.

ENGAGE: VOBOC helps AYAs by connecting with them as they begin their cancer treatment and throughout the process. A gift certificate, that is activated by the patients, allows them to take a small break from their diagnosis.

EMPOWER:Empowered patients are active participants in their care and treatment plan. Empowered patients have better health outcomes and a better quality of life.

Granting of Special Request – At the request of the medical teams, VOBOC considers and grants special requests to patients in crisis, palliative care or for those who require financial assistance.
Eligibility requirements:
Cancer patients between the ages of 15 to 39.
