“When my husband was reaching the final stages of cancer, I reached out to NOVA and they immediately came to our rescue. Dedicating her nights, the home health aid provided the care and attention for him to pass away at home in serenity and with dignity, surrounded by his family. We would have never been able to offer my husband this gift without NOVA’s help. Following his death, the bereavement support program enabled us to get through the difficult times. The level of comfort and care we got from NOVA went beyond our expectations. They are our angels on earth.”

Nova needs your help
NOVA West Island plays a vital role in our community. We are continuously approaching potential donors at the individual, community and corporate levels to fund our widely recognized and appreciated programs and services. We do not receive any federal or provincial government funding and we have the professional latitude to provide as many nursing visits and interventions based on our clients’ needs and not ministerial guidelines. As the aging population is increasing and more people are living with cancer, ALS and Alzheimer, we need your financial support to respond to the growing demands in caring for the vulnerable people in our community.
