Cumulus’s mission is to prevent drug addiction by taking a global approach and focusing on the individual by taking actions that encourage the autonomy of the individual. Empathy, openness and respect are important values in Cumulus’ interventions.

Programs and Services

School-based Trainings

General Trainings

What is a Drug?: Understanding the effect of various substances on the brain, emotions and human relationships greatly facilitates future interventions to be developed.
Management of Doubt: This training discusses the importance of consistency between the interventions put in place, as well as respecting each person’s role within the intervention process.
Experiential Management: This training aims to understand the pursuit of pleasure that is associated with addiction and how to properly address it in the intervention process.
Feminist Approach and Experiential Management: This training aims to enhance the intervention approach facing drug addiction and women in shelters.

School Workshops

Primary School: A program of 5 workshops aimed at prevention. Topics include: The Human Body, Natural and Artificial Drugs, Peer Influence, The Influence of Advertising and Communication and Emotions.
High School: A program of 5 ongoing workshops aimed at prevention, students receive a different workshop each year. Topics include: Drug Table, Pleasure, Addiction Cycle, Aphrodite & Dionysus and After-Ball.
