WIAIH, pronounced « why-ah », is the West Island Association for the Intellectually Handicapped. We strive to enhance the lives of people with an intellectual disability or an autism spectrum disorder, to provide support to their families, and to maintain and develop innovative services and sensitize the community.
Their activities include recreation services, specialized camps, social activities, support/parent groups, information sessions, a specialized library, a permanent residence for 9 adults, a developmental centre for early childhood, a day program for an aging clientele, an afternoon care program for 12-21 year olds, and much more.
