Save the Date: April 6 for an event marking the commencement of a new era of the West Island Black Community Association! More information to come!

For another year, there will be a collective food drive in the parking lot of the Olive-Urquhart sports center on April 7. All donations will be distributed to the following local food banks: West Island Mission, Fond d’Aide de l’Ouest-de-l’île, OnRock community services, La maison entre familles, Assistance communautaire Dorval.

Carrefour jeunesse-emploi de l’Ouest-de-l’Île is recruiting for their “Viser sa réussite” program. This program helps young adults with a physical or mental work limitation (diagnosed or not) get into the job market. Learn more about the program here.

Join Volunteer West Island in celebrating National Volunteer Week (NVW) from April 14-20, 2024. During this week we recognize and thank volunteers around the West Island and Canada for their contributions to causes that benefit our communities. NVW is also an opportunity to promote the benefits of volunteering to individuals and society. Thank you to all the volunteers who help make the West Island a better and safer place for all!
