Programs and Services

FabZone provides a welcoming space where students (high school and post secondary), adults and seniors of any skill level can meet, make, learn and share.

FabZone provides a combination of training workshops, events and drop-in times where tools and workspace will be available to work on projects.Trained staff and volunteers will provide guidance on how to use tools, and how to proceed with a project.

Small group classes can be offered in sewing, 3D printing, Cricut and vinyl cutting, laser cutting and engraving, woodworking and more.

Custom workshops can be offered for small groups (scouts/guides, senior residence, homeschool) based on the interests or special needs (ex: adapted for low dexterity, focus on a theme).

FabZone offers the following spaces:

• Sewing room with industrial, heavy duty and overlock machines and a large cutting table.
• Craft and digital arts room with 3D printers, Cricut Makers, 24″ vinyl cutter, laptops with all needed software installed and lots of workspace.
• Workshop with laser cutter, soldering stations, hand tools and more workspace.
• Woodshop with bandsaw, drill press, belt sander and sliding compound miter saw (and lots of ventilation and dust control.
