Help & Referral phone line: free confidential service which provides support to break the isolation, talk about what an individual is going through and address problems related to any disorders. Phone lines are offered every day. 1-800-630-0907 or 514-630-0907
Online support: A free, confidential and anonymous service. People will discuss their issues directly with health professionals.
Open support groups
Closed support groups: Closed support groups are offered for people who are 17 years old and older who are struggling with an eating disorder or a body image obsession.
Conferences: Dynamic and interactive conferences permitting a better understanding of eating disorders intervention practices. Conferences are offered to youth in high schools, youth centres and youth organisations and to adults in women’s centres, shelters, adult organisations.
Youth
Training: Training sessions to educate processionals address the nature of eating disorders (causes, consequences, triggers, warning signs) and suggest what to do and how to communicate with sufferers.
