AWISH

AWISH serves those in the West Island and surrounding areas who suffer with arthritis and associated chronic pain. Through the process of Information, Education and Support, AWISH’s mission is to aid in achieving a better quality of life by providing much-needed tools and assistance through professional program facilitators and empathetic volunteers.

Programs and Services

EXERCISE! A whole-body exercise program led by a qualified instructor. Located in Dorval, DDO or Pierrefonds.
Arthritis Management Course: A series of 5 sessions where participants are encouraged to share their day-to-day experience and learn coping skills.
Support Groups
- Caring & Sharing group
Free public information sessions & conferences: with professional guest speakers working in the field of arthritis and rheumatology. Schedule available online.
